Old House Woods, Virginia

Since Old House Woods is now privately owned, you are not allowed to camp within its grounds. However, those who survived the forest reported sudden drops in temperature and floating images of women and military personnel.
Devil’s Tramping Ground, North Carolina
A small circle of lifeless ash, the Devil’s Camping Ground is one of the world’s most haunted forests. According to legend, it is an area used by the devil to reflect on ways to destroy humanity.

Aokigahara Forest, Japan
Bordering Mt. Fuji, the Aokigahara is famously known as the ‘Suicide Forest’. Each year, around 30 people enter the Aokigahara to commit suicide. Beckoning people to venture into the forest to end their lives, the Aokigahara trees are said to embody an evil energy that can make you feel a deep sense of entrapment and permanence.
Locals say that the trees themselves provoke you to remain in the forest forever. Aside from the disturbing images of skeletons scattered on its floor, some tourists report hearing howling sounds from souls that are in deep pain and agony also known as Yurei.
