Premier Physician Network, a NJ-based medical care provider, has reportedly extended its portal access facilities for patients to easily view their data. The strategic move is also expected to benefit both doctors and nurses who can coordinate with the patients in an effective manner. As per sources, the medical group is also creating an integrated telephone system for assisting nine medical practitioners and four nurses at seven locations in South New Jersey.
According to medical experts, a bigger network would prove to be advantageous for both doctors and patients, with electronic health records helping the former establish a good coordination with patients, that would eventually lead to improved health & wellness in patients.
A key official at Premier Physician Network was quoted stating that since the medical field is becoming increasingly complicated and internet based, doctors can focus on patient health through the network portal. Reports have confirmed that the service providers are based in the Cherry Hill, Collingswood, Voorhees, Haddonfield, Sicklerville, and Delran across South Jersey. It has been claimed that they assist the medical practitioners and nurses to offer evidence-based medical care facility for the patients residing in the region.
Industry analysts are of the view that the key focus of the group is to offer value-based care to the patients, while simultaneously aiming to provide compensation to physicians for positive results. In the patient-centered model of the portal, the local doctors take the responsibility of the patient’s health and are always available for patient care. As per the National Committee for Quality Assurance, the model achieves better results in patient handling, patient care, and disease management activities. It has also been stated by medical professionals that the Premier Physician Network has always provided medical information, guidance, and assistance to its member healthcare service providers through technical as well as back-office support.
