CGTech to launch Vericut aerospace composites applications in Dubai

CGTech, one of many well-acclaimed software industry players, has been reported to display the composite programming & simulation applications of its Vericut software at the Dubai airshow 2017 in the last quarter of this year. The firm apparently, uses the Vericut software to quite an extent for enhancing the performance of CNC machine tools via simulation, verification, and optimization processes. The software is machine independent and can be extensively used across aerospace composites industry. In addition, proprietors of the software claim that it finds extensive applications in the machines manufactured by the leading aerospace composites machinery suppliers such as mToress and Electroimpact. The firm also holds the monopoly for Vericut drilling and fastening (VDAF), yet another software used for simulating & programming auto-drilling machines, which are deployed for assembling big aero-structures to prevent programming errors & collisions at a much later phase during the aircraft manufacturing process. Though Vericut runs as a standalone application, it can be merged with leading CAM systems such as Autodesk PowerMill, Dassault Systemes CATIA, and Open Mind HyperMill, which can find extensive applications across aerospace composites industry. CGTech demonstrations will also include its aerospace solutions for CNC machine tools of Hermle, DMG Mori Seiki Company Limited, Starrag Group, and Yamazaki Mazak Corporation.

In other news, Dubai is set to develop the world’s largest airport, which will mark the onset of a new era in the field of aviation across the Middle East.  The airshow that is to be staged in the city will display some of the exceptional features of commercial aviation, business aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, cargo zone, airport services, and space exploration.

The Dubai airshow is expected to focus on core areas of the aerospace industry, including defense, commercial, and general aviation. In addition, it is anticipated to create a better platform for players such as CGTech across the aerospace composites market.
