A Chinese manufacturing company Qihoo has released 360 N5s smartphone in the Chinese market yesterday. The device is a continuation of the N series launched in February. It has high end specs than its predecessor 360 N5. It seems that the trend is changing in the Chinese market also. All the major OEM’s are releasing high end devices with low price tags. Qihoo 360 N5s has a price tag of 1699 Yuan or about $ 250. The main features of the device include 6GB of ram and Dual front camera set up.
The detailed specifications show it a beautiful device with 2.5D curved glass coating both on the front and the back. It supports a 5.5 inch IPS display with Full HD resolution of 1080X1920 pixels. The contrast ratio of the device is also high as the pixel density is 401PPI. The processing powers are boosted with one of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC processor clocked at 1.8GHz. The 6GB of ram is enough to control the functioning of various apps at the same time. The device is also rich in internal memory which is 64GB. There is also a dedicated slot that helps to increase the memory up to 128GB through a MicroSD card.
The photography department performs well with the help of 13MP back camera sensor. The LED flash and PDAF technology support the back camera for better photography. The most attractive feature of the device is the dual camera at the front of the device. There is a 13MP and a 2MP sensor which give the selfies a DSLR type of effect. The device runs Android 7.1 out of the box. The display is a lot attractive due to customizable 360 OS 2.0 at the top of the display.
The dimensions of the device make it identical to Honor 8 lite by Huawei. It measures 153.5X76.9X8.0mm with 170 grams of weight. There are two capacitive buttons for navigation at the front bottom of the device. The volume rockers and the power button are at the top right edge. On the left side, there is a hybrid SIM slot. The user can use 2 SIMS or one SIM and a memory card in the slot. Another very good thing about the device is that user can use 4G on any of the SIM. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, WIFI, USB OTG support, 3.5mm audio jack port, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
The finger print sensor is at the back of the device to increase the security features. It draws battery juice from a 3730mAh battery which is non removable. The battery supports Qualcomm’s Quick charge 3.0 which can charge it up to 50% within 30 minutes.
The marketing of its predecessor 360 N5 shows that the company has no intentions of releasing it in international markets. It is exclusively available in Chinese market now.
